God Bless George W. Bush. That is right, Your Friendly MC, who is more liberal than he should be considering he lives in The USA, is happy as hades today that George W. Bush is our Fearless leader. Why? Well, I will tell you why. I am happy that the Inept One is president because he is quite possibly the worst politician in Washington. I hear all the time from alleged liberals that George W. is "too political" or is "too much of a politician." The fact is that the Inept One is a horrible politician. A politician is someone who successfully practices the art of motivating, persuading, dissuading, and influencing people. GW on the other hand has the political skills of a grizzly bear. Even now after the failing of the Dubai Ports Deal he seems to think that if Americans and congress would just listen to and understand him, they would see that he is correct. But what he fails to recognize is that the ignorant, fearful, and reactionary American society that he has helped to create has a problem with the deal, namely the "A" in U.A.E., that cant be mollified by investigations or pleas of "trust me." In Fact this whole port deal experience is evidence of why i am glad, and America is lucky, that The Inept One is such a bad politician. As another example of the Inept One's ineptitude, can you think of one thing in his entire presidency that he has done right, or one initiative of his that has worked. But back to the Port Deal. You see what this failed deal has shown is that Americans really are irrationally afraid. Think about it, this uproar has happened nearly five-and-a-half years after 9/11. Americans are still willing to do almost anything for the illusion of safety. Now imagine if an eloquent and thoughtful Neo-Conservative was president, I know it's oxymoronic but please follow me for a bit. This President is the Leader of the Free World on Sept. 12 2001. Can you imagine what liberties Americans would have given up if an intelligent and shrewd politician had manipulated 9/11 instead of the Inept One. Let's Face it folks, GW is a lame-duck, and given the circumstances, it looks as though the world will get off easy and He and his ilk will not be allowed to screw up stuff too much. Hopefully the American people will grow wiser for this experience, but in the meantime be merry, be glad, The long national nightmare only has two-and-a-half years left.
